Each year of formation at our Seminary starts with a silent spiritual retreat as a preparation for the coming year. This year’s retreat was held at “Manresa” Retreat House in Rabat (Gozo) between the 19th and the 24th of September. The retreat was led by Rev. Mons. Anton Teuma, Bishop of Gozo. The seminarians were accompanied by the Rector Can. Richard Farrugia and the Spiritual Director Fr Tony Calleja SJ. For the second time, the retreat was held for the seminarians of Malta and Gozo together.
Throughout the retreat, Bishop Anton shared with us several reflections about everyone’s vocation as seen in the Gospel of Mark.
This retreat was a moment of grace as it helped our community to commence a new year united with God and each other in prayer.
